What’s important to know about me?
I come from a long line of ancestors seeking a better life and taking risks to make that happen – from my Scandinavian ancestors who moved to work on American farms in service of a dream, to my own family move from San Francisco to Aotearoa with three small children and big aspirations. At my roots, life is about taking risks, redefining, reinventing, and playing big.
I’m an unapologetic generalist, interested in a million different aspects of life and enabling conversations that create human impact. I mix this with a deep focus on research and best practice – the world of leadership is emergent and I am passionate about bringing the latest and greatest to our clients. I’ve worked as a leader across 14 countries, organisations across diverse industries, and as a consultant with hundreds of leaders including CEOs, start-up founders, artists, nonprofit leaders, working parents, retirees. My superpowers include empathy, creativity, adaptability, idea generation and holding a future vision for others playing to their strengths. If you can believe it you can achieve it!
I lead with a radical sense of self-ownership, in my strengths, my imperfections and proudly owning my own learning, and I offer others the safe space to do the same. For me this is both at work and home, and when I’m not in the office I’m ubering my amazing children to their many activities, seeking special moments (a beautiful sunset, a nice glass of wine, a concert), and connecting with the people I love who belly laugh with me.
Am I the right fit for you?
As a seasoned coach there’s no topic too scary and life is too short to spend precious time on stuff that doesn’t add to our life purpose, so let’s go there together with the intent to unlock your unique potential. I’m non-judgemental, open, and present now, while also thinking about future possibilities. Did I mention we will have fun too?
As a facilitator I’m curious, warm, creative, and challenging. I love a great ‘comeback story’, helping fractured, distrusting teams recover and experience miraculous turnarounds when we humanize our dynamic and focus on our relationships. I’m driven to help people understand we have more in common than we do different; more that unites us than separates us. If we need to get awkward, I’m the first to go there, with undoubtedly a few laughs along the way.
I’m at my best working with leaders and organisations who take our responsibility of caring for people seriously, with a hunger to unite and level-up. Connect heads and hearts and I’ll work tirelessly to make it happen across strategy, leadership and team development.
