What’s important to know about me?
My work is driven by desire to help others make sense of a complex, ever-changing working world. I follow three principles in my approach: provide context, simplify and remove barriers. This means that I navigate challenges by looking for ways to remove the 'noise' and bring things back to basics.
For me, it's important to understand the world I live and work in, so I spend a lot of my spare time upskilling, learning from diverse mentors, and finding the links or commonalities between unrelated concepts or 'things'. I have also worked closely with a Māori mentor over the last twelve months, toward better cultural capability and understanding of te ao Māori.
My approach to supporting others is pragmatic and grounded. I am a support person by nature who is celebrates differences and I encourage alternative perspectives or ideas in building confidence and skill in others.

As a facilitator, I strive to make leadership concepts easy to understand and apply. I use storytelling, humor, visuals, and interactive activities to create engaging learning environments. With a background in HR and experience across various industries, I have a lived and grounded understand of challenges and opportunities teams face. This helps me guide leaders to take meaningful next steps in leadership, team coaching, and managing change, and allows me to adapt content on the fly, as content or issues surface
As a coach, I focus on practical solutions. I especially enjoy working with delivery leaders or people new to leadership, helping them cut through the noise and build confidence in their own leadership style and approach. As a coach I listen closely—beyond what’s said—and explore deeper themes to uncover pragmatic and realistic ways forward. My coaching suits those ready to be challenged or those who want to explore their style deeply. Diverse leadership styles are important to me, as I see value in leveraging off the strengths that result in the different ways individuals navigate the world.
